The 1st NATO SFA COE Lessons Learned Workshop was aimed at developing a dedicated SFA LL Community of Interest, which would permit NATO Nations/Partners and International Organizations to implement efficient and effective SFA activities in operations. The workshop encompassed various topics: a general overview of Security Force Assistance and its doctrine; a presentation of the NATO SFA COE Cross Cutting Topic’s projects and the associated supporting agencies; an in-depth analysis of some SFA case studies that were debated among the syndicate panels. The event was perceived as a fruitful and dynamic way to bring worthwhile suggestions to support a common design of the innovative requirement for a SFA Operator Profile, which contributes to the enhancement of NATO’s Human Capital efforts in the SFA domain.
