On the 27th of September, the Director of the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE) met Lieutenant General Lorenzo D’Addario, the Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy (NRDC-ITA).
The aim of the meeting was to consolidate the partnership between the two entities, which began with the 1st Course on Tactical and Operational SFA Planning in 2018 and was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in June 2019.
During the meeting at the NRDC-ITA headquarters, the Director renewed the Memorandum with Brigadier General (HUN- A) Laszlo GANGLER, the Communications Division Chief, as a representative of NRDC-ITA.
The purpose was to enhance the capacities and develop a stability hub at the international level in Security Force Assistance, combining capabilities and providing an added value to NATO and its Partners.
In fact, with this renewal, the parties pledged to continue their cooperation via a mutually beneficial working relationship through cross exchanges, joint activities as well as cross support in relevant events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, studies, working groups and training activities.
This meeting underlines the paramount value of cooperation with relevant entities and the NATO SFA COE effort to increase the Community of Interest in the SFA related issues.
