On the 21st and the 22nd of February 2024, at Camp Atterbury (Indiana – USA), a delegation of the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence (NATO SFA COE), leaded by its Director, had the opportunity to observe US Army Combat Advisor Teams during the exercise “Operation Combined Victory”.
The exercise was aimed at testing the capabilities of the Advisor Teams and their ability to operate within a contested operational and informational environment.
During the training event, the Director of the NATO SFA COE had the privilege to meet the Commanding General of US Army SFA Command and to take the chance to exchange knowledge and experiences.
The meeting actually provided both parties even the opportunity to share insights on best practices and to discuss new scenarios and training needs emerging in the realm of Security Force Assistance.
